Oak Trees Surrounding Stanford Oaks Townhouse
Site
Museum District in Houston, Texas
Stanford Oaks is designed to maintain
the existing oak trees surrounding the site. Building foundations
have been set back behind the canopy diameter of the mature oak trees,
and driveway entrances designed to maximize positive drainage and
minimize driveway areas over existing root systems. CitiPlex
projects are always designed for an environmentally friendly status,
which in this case will maintain trees that will add substantially to
the value of the project and the individual units. To that end,
CitiPlex architects, Carlin/White Associates, have worked within the
spatial confines to conserve the natural surroundings that enhance the
overall project.
The site plan below illustrates the
integration of the Stanford Oaks project with the existing trees, in
order to preserve the site's natural beauty.
