CitiPlex Joins Forces With Carlin/White To Develop New Urban Designs

CitiPlex Corporation and its architectural affiliate, Carlin/White Associates originally entered into a residential design/development strategic partnership to develop the Stanford Oaks Townhomes, the first townhome project designed in the Craftsman style of architecture that is predominant in Houston’s inner-city, Historic Montrose and Museum District areas.

Stonemark Builders, LLC formalizes this strategic partnership, and combines residential design, development and construction under a single entity.  Stonemark added key project managers with over 20 years of experience in custom homes building to complete its team of experienced developers, architects, builders, and marketers, all of whom specialize in the Houston urban residential market.

While most townhouse developers and architects develop a standard townhouse “product” that they build on every lot and tract they develop, in spite of the architectural style or vision for the area or neighborhood, Stonemark’s development group works together to create projects that advance the principals of organic architecture, conservation of the natural environment, and the integration of the site and development vision of the overall area with the design of the project.

Stonemark's latest project, The Villas, pictured above, features classic Italianate architecture, again integrating the design of the project to the development vision of The Woodlands.  The project is located in the exclusive East Shore Lake Woodlands, the "Garden District" of The Woodlands Town Center.
